Non-Profit Work

Antidote
Project Director
As Project Manager at Antidote, a nonprofit organization committed to countering psychological manipulation and its harmful effects on individuals and communities, I oversee the design and execution of educational programs and outreach initiatives. Through this work, I help the organization raise public awareness, prevent harm, and foster recovery from manipulative practices, including cult-like groups, hate groups, and extremism. I also drive community engagement and expand Antidote’s impact by developing partnerships and resources that empower people to recognize and resist coercive influence.

Director of Programs and Communications

Michigan Stage PlayLabs
Curriculum Designer and Teaching Artist
I led Playlabs, an equitable, pay-what-you-can theater program that opens the door to high-quality arts education for students from elementary through high school. By designing and implementing an innovative curriculum centered on creative expression, improvisation, and student-led storytelling, I helped students write, produce, and perform original works from the ground up. This approach not only nurtured artistic skills but also removed financial barriers, built confidence, and cultivated leadership in young performers.

Hope 365
Grant Writer and Communications Advisor
I played a key leadership role in launching Hope 365, Michigan’s first mental health respite center utilizing a peer-to-peer recovery model. I secured $250K in grant funding, co-designed its three-year strategic plan, and remained actively involved as both an administrator and frontline staff member to ensure the center became fully operational and well-established. My work helped lay the foundation for sustainable services and a model of care that has since become a benchmark in the state.
Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Educator
Expert Facilitator and Curriculum Designer
As a prevention educator, I have led comprehensive initiatives to address boundaries and consent, sexual and domestic violence, child sexual abuse, and survivor support, equipping individuals and communities to take an active role in preventing gender-based violence. My work has trained and mobilized audiences from kindergarten students to adult professionals, including Eastern Michigan University Greek organizations, hospital and medical systems, and members of the criminal justice system. I also designed and launched SPARK, a multi-session primary prevention program that empowers middle and high school students to reduce risk, develop leadership, and drive cultural change in their schools and communities.
